I personally use 21322 but you can change depending on your preferences. There are other threads with good Bulldog builds. This post isn't about the Bulldog though. This is what makes the magic happen against the big guys. Set a goo bomber on fire, and 1 shot to the weakpoint will take it out. YMMV.įor my secondary I use a Bulldog with the Volatile Bullets OC. I was not a fan of using Manual Guidance Cutoff because there's a lot less control but it could also be viable for you. I have almost the same setup except with Salvo Module for Elimination missions but it's not necessarily a great build for general purpose work. Overtuned Feed Mechanism may very well be better with this build but admittedly I haven't played around with it definitely a higher DPS but I'm not sure about how good **I** would be with the ammo consumption. Personally I use the clean OC Fragmentation Missiles for the little extra AoE range but there are a few others that can work with this. OC-Like I said in the beginning, this build doesn't have to have an OC for your primary to be effective. The Hurricane made the old build obsolete hands down. Most of us have a flame gunner set up in their selection because it is a powerful build. Personally, I keep it on because mactera are a pain in the ass and the weakspots are like candy. I've messed with this one a little bit and it's a bit of a toss up. Yeah you will need to reload more often and don't get that little bit of extra ammo off the start, but when you have a Haz 5 swarm breathing down your neck I've found that laying down those extra rockets saved me more often than a bigger magazine size. Another one I've played around with, and in my personal opinion the faster fire rate(+33%) is definitely worth the lower magazine size. When you're up on a zipline or you see your team mates across the cave, you need to lay down the pain and fast. I've played around with this one quite a bit but I really think that your rockets going faster is more effective than the armor breaking. I'll leave that up to someone else to determine the actual "best" perk. The increased blast radius might be very viable but I'm a filthy casual who is bad at math. This build isn't necessarily super ammo hungry and you could definitely get away with choosing one of the others in this tier but I've found that sometimes ammo can run low when you encounter wave after wave in close quarters and you just spam rockets in the general direction of the baddies. You don't even really need an OC on the Hurricane for this build to work. As someone who played a cryo driller as my 2nd most played class, this build is either equal or superior to the all-around effectiveness.ġ1211 Hurricane paired with a Volatile Bullets Bulldog. I can take down grunts, praetorians, oppressors, menaces, mactera, and even bulks with a build that doesn't even need an OC to be effective(minus volatile bullets for the bulldog). The build I've been using has made the gunner go from my least played class to my most played class. This is simply my observation and my preference of using the gunner since the update. This is not an in depth guide on the math, DPS, damage per resupply, etc of the Hurricane.
